Shannon Bray, a leading hopeful for the governorship of North Carolina, has made a public show of backing Shiba Inu (SHIB). He used Twitter to demonstrate his enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency, pointing out its capacity to recover and draw more people in. Despite the market instability, Bray is standing firm in his support of the digital asset.
“I get paid tomorrow, and I’m still buying SHIB,” the US political figure proclaimed.
SHIB KNIGHT, a well-recognized figure in the Shiba Inu world, began the dialogue by inquiring the crypto world about the meme coins they were putting money into during the 2023 meme coin season.
Shannon Bray responded to the inquiry with assurance, saying that he plans to buy more Shiba Inu even though there are many other choices available.
He was certain that SHIB would be the most sought-after coin, especially because of the impact Robinhood, a widely-used trading site, would have. He expected a lot of people to come back to SHIB.
In 2021, Bray became a part of the SHIB Army and altered his Twitter profile to show his support for the coin.
Shiba Inu in the Crypto Community
Bray's backing of SHIB has importance as he is a candidate for governor and a well-known individual with a large fan base. His approval could help to further the increasing interest in SHIB and secure its place in the rapidly developing sector.
CoinMarketCap, a renowned market tracker, reveals that SHIB is the second most significant meme coin out there, with a market capitalization of over $4 billion. Interestingly, its closest competitor, PEPE, is far behind, with a total market share of only $360 million, which is more than ten times lower.
The meme coin market has experienced immense growth and fluctuation, yet Shiba Inu has endured as a major player due to its devoted followers and notoriety.
Platforms such as Robinhood have enabled a wider range of people to invest in SHIB. The exchange recently removed some popular coins like Cardano and Solana from its platform, however SHIB remains.
