SHIB has been hit hard by the recent market dip. Just like most mainstream assets, it has seen a decrease in the last 24 hours. But, whales have been taking advantage of this, and there's been an increase in transactions and acquisition of SHIB tokens worth more than $100K.

Recent figures from IntoTheBlock show a huge surge in large Shiba Inu deals totaling $100,000 or more in the past week. The crypto analytics company reported a sharp rise to 40 yesterday, after seeing a decrease to 16 on June 1.

Over the last seven days, a large number of big transactions have added up to more than $61.62 million worth of SHIB. This shows that many whales are engaging in trades, however, this does not necessarily mean that they are buying SHIB; they could be selling it too.

Shiba Inu Whale is active

Subsequent information indicates a considerable increase in whale purchases after Shiba Inu experienced a sharp decline to its yearly minimum of $0.00000773 yesterday. This was the lowest value the token had been since June 2022. In the wake of the most recent decline, whales procured a substantial 2.49 trillion SHIB, as documented by IntoTheBlock. There was also a notable rise in the amount of large-scale SHIB buyers, reaching 146.

In addition, evidence from Santiment, a crypto analytics platform, supports these results. Santiment's figures show a continuous buildup pattern among Shiba Inu whale wallets, particularly those that contain between 10 million and 1 billion SHIB coins.

Statistics indicate that the amount owned by these addresses has grown since April, with a noticeable increase in their holdings recently. It is highlighted that some of these major purchases by whales, such as the acquisition of 261 billion SHIB in the latter half of last month.
