NFT holders of Baby Doge can now have fun in Decentraland by dressing up as the character.

On July 7, the memecoin team shared news with their community via Twitter about the release of their first Metaverse wearable. Those who own a Baby Doge Non-Fungible Token (NFT) will be able to join Decentraland and take on the role of the pup starting from July 18.

On May 17, the BabyDoge Coin ($BabyDoge) team proposed a vote to the community about a plan to give the holders of its NFTs the ability to use them as custom skins in the Decentraland metaverse. It was proposed that the Baby Doge team would create wearables for the Decentraland Linked Wearables Registry and link them to their collection of Baby Doge NFTs.

The purpose of introducing Baby Doge to the Linked Wearables Registry was to give NFT owners the opportunity to obtain special wearables from Baby Doge without having to spend money on transaction fees. Moreover, whenever Baby Doge releases a fresh wearable, it appears in the Decentraland "Backpack" of all existing Baby Doge NFT holders automatically.
