Shystoshi Kusama recently participated in a community gathering to celebrate the upcoming mainnet launch of the Shibarium project and Shiba Inu. Kusama, who is the lead developer, stated that the Shibarium project would serve as a platform to showcase the superiority of Shiba Inu over other cryptocurrencies like Elon Musk's X and Sam Altman's Worldcoin (WLD).

On Wednesday, Edward Salomons, who has been a member of ShibArmy for a long time, brought to notice this new development.

Salomons shared Kusama's comment in the Shibarium Discord channel and shared his belief in SHIB's potential for growth. He assured those who doubt Shiba Inu that they would be proven wrong.

The Shiba Inu ecosystem is set to benefit from Shibarium in multiple ways. The development team claims that this layer-2 project is intended to enhance scalability while also reducing gas fees and enabling more efficient transactions.

Salomons revealed that Kusama has discovered a new meaning for Shibarium among members of the community. The lead of the project, who goes by a pseudonym, stated that the L2 scaling solution would demonstrate the superiority of SHIB compared to other crypto projects.

Kusama recently compared Shiba Inu to Sam Altman's Worldcoin and believes that SHIB is superior to the WLD project. Kusama pointed out that the WLD project requires users to scan their iris for rewards, whereas SHIB does not. Furthermore, Kusama mentioned that Shibarium would help highlight these differences.

“With Shibarium, we will explain why exactly Shib is and will forever be greater than X or any token that makes you scan your eyeballs.”

According to The Crypto Basic, there is anticipation within the community that the team will introduce Shibarium at the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto on August 15 and 16. Additionally, Kusama is set to deliver a virtual speech during the conference.

Shiba Inu is considered a leading project in the cryptocurrency world due to its strong community. Kusama emphasized this aspect when contrasting SHIB and WLD, stating that the project’s unparalleled community strength is what has fueled its expansion.

Currently, the Shiba Inu ecosystem's Twitter account has more than 3.72 million followers, while the number of token holders has exceeded 1.32 million.
