Shytoshi Kusama, the community lead for Shiba Inu (SHIB), has a reputation for dropping teasers, and he has once again hinted at upcoming developments in the ecosystem. This latest clue has sparked increased speculation about the launch of Shibarium.
Kusama shared a basic GIF of a mathematical symbol for 'greater than' on X (formerly known as Twitter) yesterday.
“An equation for my math buffs. I won’t ELONgate it: Shib > X.”
The post has caught the attention of the Shiba Inu community due to its mysterious tone. Supporters have speculated that the hashtags "shibarium" and "verysoon" may be related to the upcoming launch of Shibarium.
The communication hints at Elon Musk, who owns X. In response, a detractor urged the Shiba Inu's lead developer to provide a precise date for the Shibarium mainnet launch. Kusama requested that he examine the mathematical details in the message.
Advocates are already starting to come up with potential explanations. Some believe that the post may indicate that Shibarium will debut on August 11, as the next number after 10 (represented by X in Roman numerals) is 11. Others speculate that it could be August 17, which happens to be the day following the Blockchain Futurist Conference.
Prior to making the post, Kusama had already informed the Shibarium community Telegram group about the upcoming addition of three partnerships to the SHIB ecosystem.
He stated that there are three parts; the first one involves the use of dry ink, the second part, which is expected to be released in August, focuses on technology, and the third part is significant enough to be celebrated.
“One more thing. An equation: Shib > X.” - Kusama remarked
Additionally, on the Shibarium Discord server, the primary developer emphasized the team's intention to demonstrate the superiority of Shiba Inu over other assets that require iris scans, such as Worldcoin. The developer acknowledged that the key to Shiba Inu's success is its flourishing community.
A series of disclosures has been made, indicating that an important update is forthcoming. In response to a post made on X, a leading SHIB community member named Lucie suggested that the Shiba Inu project might be introducing a new element to the equation.
Kusama made an announcement in the Discord server, informing the community to anticipate forthcoming updates and partnerships. He also mentioned that a new guidebook would be released soon. Kusama is currently working on the Worldpaper and has confirmed that the Shibarium community is already closed.
At the moment, it is still unclear how the recent hints relate to the launch of Shibarium. Despite the numerous teasers, community members are still speculating about what could be coming.
